The Dallas Down River Club hosts The Trinity River Challenge in early fall. All races start and end at the same line at Mcinnish Park. Therefore, no shuttles are required. In 2009, there were three distances available.

Water. That is a good place to start. Water takes so many forms. Here in North Texas, what we have is lakes and rivers. I like paddling rivers. Either river racing or just sightseeing is fine by me. The experience is just intimate. The shore is never far away, so the scenery is always changing. Just about anything might be around the bend.

Beautiful Day, Truly Interesting Race!

Early morning temp in the low 30s may have skeered some people off, but it turned out to be a beautiful day for racing. Crystal blue skies, temp in the high 60s. More, a paddler in a Huki dumped mounting his boat at the start but quickly reported that the water was a lot warmer than the air.
